(Beaumont, TX) – The Beaumont Public Library System will be holding its semi-annual book sale at the Beaumont Civic Center in the Center’s meeting rooms on Saturday, October 3, 2009. Doors will open for the book sale at 8:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM. Come early and get first choice. This will be one of the largest book sales in our history and will include ex-library materials, donated items, old magazines from the l930’s thru 1970’s, new and old books, and more. Highlights include several thousand children’s books and even a section of specially priced older, rarer books.
Prices for ex-library books begin at $.10 each and donated books begin at $.50 each. Magazines will be three for $1.00. At 3:00 PM book prices will drop to half price.
Library bags will also be available for purchase with plastic totes at $1.00 and logo canvas bags at $10.00.
The Beaumont Civic Center is located at 701 Main Street in downtown Beaumont.
