Here’s an event every Southeast Texan should schedule in 2010 – Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau Destination Training. It’s FREE and is a day-long tour that takes you all over Beaumont to learn about the history of the area from Spindletop at Gladys City to McFaddin Ward and the Chambers Houses to the downtown museums and more. Each tour is little bit and lunch is included. Here are the dates for 2010: Jan. 13, Mar. 17, May 12, Jul. 14, Sep. 15, Nov. 10. See pics from this year’s Destination Trainings here.
