Hotel Beaumont Independent and Assisted Living Community will be celebrating Mardi Gras with residents, families, friends and the surrounding community on Thursday, February 11, 2010 starting at 5:30 p.m. The night will start off with a Cajun feast of Gumbo and all the fixings. After dinner we will be entertained by the hilarious Cajun comedian, Harry Guillory, while enjoying our delicious King Cake and coffee. Stick around after the show to enter a crawfish into the crawfish races, announced by Bill Leger from KFDM Channel 6, and to catch beads for souvenirs from the mezzanine. It is sure to be an eventful night. Dinner is $7/ person and residents eat free. We encourage you to come out and see how Beaumont senior citizens celebrate this fabulous Cajun tradition.
